SIBOC works with small businesses and community members to promote the vitality of our Town Centers. We administer and founded the First Business Improvement District on Staten Island, the Forest Avenue BID. We work with businesses within the and Castleton Avenue Commercial Corridor of Staten Island, NY.
Castleton Avenue Merchant association (camo)
CAMO mission is to create a more viable and vibrant commercial corridor along Castleton Avenue on Staten Island. Working in partnership with local and city agencies, CAMO aims to have a positive impact along the corridor by improving quality programming through arts, food, entertainment and neighborhood improvement initiatives.
SIBOC supports CAMO on commercial revitalization activities and community events.
BID exploration in forest west
A Business Improvement District (BID) is a geographical area where local stakeholders oversee and fund the maintenance, improvement, and promotion of their commercial district.
SIBOC is currently looking at BID exploration. Specifically, we are working with Forest Avenue West on a BID exploration. We have helped form a Steering Committee to represent the Forest West area.
